Professor Helmut W. Minne, MD was Medical Director of ‘Der Fürstenhof ’ Clinic in Bad Pyrmont, Germany from 1991 to 2010. During this time, he collaborated with medi in developing the Spinomed back brace. Rieky van Elk from the Netherlands developed lymphoedema in her right arm after two episodes of breast cancer. She now has the lymphoedema under control – mainly thanks to the compression garments that she wears day and night.
