medi Butler Off: Step by step instructions

2. Push the handle slightly downwards. Guide the front end of the horn over your calf to your heel. During the entire movement, the inner side of the horn should touch the skin. The compression stocking is pushed downwards at the same time with the help of the “notch”. To re-establish skin contact, you can again lift the horn upwards a little and then continue with the downwards movement.

3. As soon as you have reached the heel, raise it. Now tilt the handle slightly downwards and guide the horn along the sole of your foot.

Important: Make sure you do not press the stocking against the floor with the donning aid. The stocking could be damaged. Now push the handle slightly forwards. This slips the stocking off your foot but keeps it on the horn.

medi Butler Off – use as a shoe horn

Put the outer end of the horn (not more than 1–2 cm) between the shoe and the underside of your foot. Press your foot downwards. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the horn, it will slip smoothly into the shoe!

Putting on and taking off medical compression stockings is much easier with donning and doffing aids.
