The iF Design Award is one of the most prestigious and largest design competitions in the world. Since 1953, designers, manufacturers and users have regarded it as a label for outstanding design. A quality label which stands for excellent design. The iF International Forum Design GmbH is based in Hannover. The submissions are divided into five categories: Product, Communication, Packaging, Interior Architecture and Professional Concept. More than 5,000 submissions a year from around 70 countries are sent to Germany’s oldest independent design organisation.

“The primary purpose is, of course, that our orthopaedic products promote the healing process. If they win design prizes as well, then our patients get double the benefit: the outstanding effect and an attractive look. We are very proud of having received the iF Design Award.” Marcus Weismantel, Head of the Orthopaedics Product Marketing Team
Primarily men who are very active in their everyday life or work will value mediven active. The hosiery with the subtle fine ribbed design feels great to wear and relives the strain for hardworking men’s legs. The seam is hardly visible and you can’t feel it, thanks to a special knitting method. An extra soft comfort sole and reinforced heel provide that extra bit of well-being.
The mediven for men receives the award for its attractive “business ribbed design”, for example. This is a great fit with a suit and other smart clothing. The anatomically-shaped toe section and the soft comfort cuff are particularly comfortable for your feet and legs. Useful left and right marking is also provided.
