Patellar tendinopathy is an irritation of the patellar tendon and is also referred to as runner’s knee or jumper’s knee. The pain often occurs during intense strain, such as in sports involving a lot of jumping. The Genumedi PSS knee brace features a two-part pad system to stabilize the kneecap and provide targeted relief for the patellar tendon. In addition, the pressure applied to relieve the patellar tendon can be individually adjusted using the patella strap.
All about patellar tendon syndrome
Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is characterized by pain along the patellar tracking path between the thigh bone and the kneecap. Patients usually describe this as pain beside, behind, or below the kneecap. Genumedi PT has proven effective in treatment. With its two 3D thigh pads, it specifically targets individual muscles and helps stabilize the knee joint. It can also improve patellar tracking and thus help counteract patellofemoral pain syndrome.
Information on patellofemoral pain syndrome
Pes anserinus syndrome is an irritation of the common tendon insertion of three muscles and manifests as pain on the inner side of the lower leg. The Genumedi PA brace was specially developed to stimulate the affected tendon insertion, positively influence muscular balance in the thigh, and support patellar tracking.
Pes anserinus syndrome overview
