What is mediven comfort print and how does it differ from conventional compression stockings?

mediven comfort print is a medical compression stocking that is printed all over using an innovative printing process. The stockings are therefore not dyed in dyeing machines as is usually the case, but are printed with selected patterns (prints) by hand. This process is considered an industry first in the field of medical compression for a RAL-certified compression stocking.

How are the prints getting onto the stocking?

The patterns (prints) are applied to the white knitted sock using a special 360° printing process. In this process, the white knitted sock is printed all the way round with the chosen design using a special machine. The cuff, heel and toe are knitted in black to create a clean and harmonious overall look.

In what sizes, lengths and styles is the mediven comfort print available?

The mediven comfort print is available as a knee-high stocking (AD), in compression classes 1 and 2, in two different lengths (standard and short), in sizes 1 to 7, and only with a closed toe.

Is the product also available as a made-to-measure product, or is it exclusively a serial product?

The mediven comfort print is a serial product.

Is the printed ink skin-friendly?

The dye is harmless and has no effect whatsoever on the skin: the product bears the CE mark and therefore meets all the necessary safety and performance requirements for a medical device. Like all our other products, mediven comfort print has been tested in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

How long does it take to deliver the printed compression stockings?

As the custom printing is only carried out once the order has been received and involves a great deal of manual work, we estimate that it will take up to ten working days to print and deliver the socks.
