Lumbar support with breathable fabric
The Lumbamed active is a lumbar support. The product is exclusively to be used for the orthotic fitting of the lower back and only on intact skin.
Relief of the lumbar spine area by stabilizing effect
The proprioceptive compression reduces muscular tension and eases pain
How does it work?/Mode of action
Lumbamed active appreciably reduces the load on the lumbar spine and assists the back muscles, relieving low back pain and muscle spasm. The four integrated, anatomically moulded tension springs, with a preset angle of 35° can be adjusted individually to give a perfect fit to the anatomy of the lumbosacral region. The lining of the support ensures that moisture is wicked away from the underlying skin during normal use.
Wrap the support around the body putting your fingers in the loops as illustrated.
Press the left side of the fastener against your stomach. Put the right side over the left one and fasten it.
When closing the hook and loop fastener, please pull out the left fingers first, then the right ones.
The support should be pulled down until the lower edge is just above the groin. Always wear the support under your clothes.
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, do not wear the support for more than 8 hours at a time. After a break of approx. 2 hours it may then be put on again.
Polyester, poliamide, elastane, cotton, PU
Hook and loop fastener fasteners should be closed for washing. Fabric softeners, grease, oil, lotions and ointments can affect the bandaging material. Soap residues can cause skin irritations and wearing of the material.
Wash the product by hand, preferably using a medi clean detergent, or in delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild detergent without fabric conditioners.
