Lumbamed® sacro

Lumbamed sacro is a pelvic brace featuring two flexibly positionable massage pads. Circular compression combined with stabilisation of the pelvis and the sacroiliac joints (SI joints) can help to alleviate pain. It is indicated for all conditions where pelvic stabilisation is required, for example:

• Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
• Sacroiliac joint instability
• Muscle pain and tendon disease in the pelvic region
• Pelvic ring instability
• For recurring muscle and tendon disease (rectus abdominis muscle, piriformis muscle)

Lumbamed sacro stands out thanks to its modular design, as the brace consists of two components: a compressive knitted fabric and a pelvic belt. Depending on individual pain levels and mobility, either the pelvic belt alone or the belt in combination with the knitted fabric can be worn. At night, for example, only the elastic comfort knitted fabric can be worn for stabilisation, using an optional purchasible fastener.

With its functional elements and specific features relating to material, fit, ease of use and effect, the brace offers a high level of wearing comfort.

COMFORT MATERIAL

An integrated comfort zone with a two-zone knitted fabric ensures easy donning and a pleasant wearing while maintaining reliable stabilisation. Thanks to Clima Comfort technology with high breathability, moisture is quickly wicked away from the skin.

The Lumbamed sacro is particularly skin-friendly due to its material composition, which combines high-tech fibres with natural fibres (such as eucalyptus). Twelve per cent of the knitted fabric consists of SEAQUAL YARN – an innovative yarn made from recycled PET bottles. On average, this corresponds to a one-litre bottle per product.

COMFORT FIT

A high cut-out in the sensitive bending area provides excellent wearing comfort. The modular design of the pelvic brace allows individual adjustment according to pain level and range of movement, ensuring therapy-appropriate use.

COMFORT HANDLING

Thanks to the integrated internal hand loop on the left side and the external loop on the right, the brace is easier to put on. In addition, a practical hook-and-loop aid helps with secure closure.

COMFORT EFFECT

The precise strap system allows individual, infinitely adjustable control of circular pressure around the pelvis. The combination of circular compression and stabilisation of the pelvis and sacroiliac joints helps to relieve pain. The flexibly positionable massage pads can be used to massage painful areas as required. The compressive knitted fabric may also improve proprioception, supporting the body’s own stabilisation.
