protect.Achi is a support for compression of the Achilles tendon. It includes a breathable, elastic and light material, and anatomically-shaped knit.
The anatomically-shaped silicon pads enable an effective pressure relief and stabilisation. The support has an increased comfort by using softer material in the flexion area.
protect.Achi is suitable for all indications in which soft tissue compression with local pressure pad(s) on the Achilles tendon is necessary, such as:
- Acute and chronic inflammation of the Achilles tendon
- Posttraumatic and postoperative inflammation
- Achillodynia
- Achillobursitis
Protect.Achi relieves pain and dissipates swelling (oedema, haematoma) via integrated silicon pads (massage effect). It enables stabilisation and relief on the joint elicited via compressive knitted fabric. The compressive knitted fabric can improve proprioception. The improvement in proprioception supports the body's own guidance and stabilizes the joint.

All indications in which soft tissue compression with local pressure pad(s) on the Achilles tendon is necessary, such as:
- Acute and chronic inflammation of the Achilles tendon
- Posttraumatic and postoperative inflammation
- Achillodynia
- Achillobursitis
- Diseases or injuries of the skin in the area of use, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive warming, swelling or reddening)
- Sensitivity and perfusion disorders of the legs or feet (e.g. in the case of diabetes)
- Lymph outflow disorders, as well as unclear swellings of soft tissues, apart from the area of use
