Stabilisation of the lumbar spine area and the lumbosacral transition by means of 4 integrated dorsal spring ribs
Reduction of lordosis of the lumbar spine by means of proprioceptive compression in the abdominal area
How does it work?/Mode of action
With the combination of the compressive knitted fabric and the integrated back rods, Lumbamed basic stabilises the area of the lumbar spine and the border to the pelvis, without impairing muscular strength. The static forces in the vertebral column are improved and stress on the affected segments is reduced. This alleviates pain.
Supports cause the greatest effect during physical exercise. In principal, the support can be worn all day. However, this depends on how comfortable the support is to wear. The support should be taken off for longer breaks (e.g. sitting for a long time or a long car drive, sleeping).
If you suffer excessive pain or discomfort during wear, please take off the product immediately and seek medical advice. The support is suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse out the product thoroughly.
The label on the right inside of the fastener explains how to put the support on.
First, slip into the wrist strap in the left inside of the fastener. Wrap the bandage around the body and then slip into the outer wrist strap on the right side.
Pull the two fastening sides over each other and then secure them as centrally as possible with the hook and loop fastener. The
bandage has been correctly applied when the bottom edge of the fastener is located just above the pubic bone. The small finger tab on the edge of the right side of the fastener will help you to undo the bandage again.
The Clima Comfort knitted fabric will achieve its best breathing activity when the bandage is worn directly against the skin.
Polyamide, Polyester, Elastane
Hook and loop fastener should be closed for washing. Fabric softener, fats, oils and ointments can attack the material and the Clima Comfort Effect can be impaired. Soap residues can cause skin irritation and material wear.
You can wash the product by hand, preferably using a medi clean detergent, or in delicate cycle at 30°C using a mild detergent without fabric conditioners.
