The most important thing is: people move

Whether on a hand bike, cycle ergometer or balance board – one thing applies to all ‘PEOPLE ON THE MOVE’ competitions: neither athleticism, exertion nor endurance play an important role. Instead, the winner is the one who feels the best at the end.

Over the last few years, tens of thousands of people have tested their skills trying to hit a given target without using a display or other aid. Some prominent people have taken part, such as the sports all-rounder, Joey Kelly, the six-time track cycling world champion, Stefan Nimke. and football coach legend, Friedhelm Funkel.

"PEOPLE ON THE MOVE is a fantastic way to show how easy and fun it can be to incorporate activity into your life," says the well known health expert and sponsor of PEOPLE ON THE MOVE, Professor Ingo Froböse. "Any form of exercise, such as hiking, speed walking or jogging, is so easy to incorporate into your life for the good of your health. The main thing is: people move."

Exercise in all its forms is synonymous with pleasure and health. With this in mind and in the spirit of the motto, PEOPLE ON THE MOVE, medi and the Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG surgical appliance retailers are inviting people across Germany to start actively experiencing body, mind and wellbeing.

Over 820,000 visitors have already taken us up on our invitation over the last few years. Sanitätshaus Aktuell AG, with more than 500 member companies in more than 750 locations nationwide, has been a strong partner for comprehensive healthcare supplies for over 30 years.
