M.4s comfort: greater flexibility in treatment

medi has expanded the range of knee orthoses: wedge set and new colour variants

medi has expanded the range of knee orthoses: the tried and tested M.4s comfort knee orthosis for treating cruciate and collateral ligament ruptures is now available in the new colour variant lime/hawaii blue.

Also new are the extended options now available for limiting the orthosis to 5 degrees hyperextension and 120 degrees flexion of the joint for more freedom of movement.

Controlled, dosed hyperextension of the knee joint

The new wedge set offers even more flexibility in individual treatment. It guarantees limitation of movement or immobilisation of the leg depending on the indication. The new 5 degrees hyperextension wedge provides for controlled, dosed hyperextension of the knee joint.

A healthy knee has a radius of movement of about 5 to 10 degrees hyperextension and up to 150 degrees flexion1.

M.4s comfort supports treatment, so that patients can regain their complete natural joint mobility as quickly and safely as possible. The doctor decides on the use and the individual setting of the knee orthosis.
