The new accessory "non-slip silicone dots"

More safety and comfort in the treatment of oedema!

Minor details, major effect: starting in October all medi's flat knit garments will have the new optional accessory "non-slip silicone dots" as an alternative to the topband strips. These offer, for example, additional security of hold and give patients with pronounced body shapes and voluminous thighs and upper arms a feeling of confidence when wearing the garments.

Leg garments

The non-slip silicone dots are applied to the inside of the knitted fabric of leg garments by a special process. The following positions measuring 10 x 4.5 centimetres can be chosen: in the knee region, along the oblique of the upper border and along the seam on the back of the thigh.

Arm garments

In the arm garments, the non-slip silicone dots are positioned on the inside of the knitted fabric along the oblique of the upper border. They measure 6 x 4.5 centimetres.

A wide range of variants

The non-slip silicone dots can also be applied to the outside of the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands of the garment (size 6 x 4.5 centimetres). This gives safety and grip – for example, when walking in the hosiery or when driving a car.

The non-slip silicone dots have a more discrete and more attractive look than sewn-in topband strips, whose seams are visible along the outside of the garment. Furthermore, they improve the security of hold of the garment to make it more comfortable and safer to wear. Applying the non-slip silicone dots does not impair the longitudinal or transverse elasticity of the knitted fabric.
