Nordic Walking

The basic technique of Nordic Walking is the same as the movement pattern of classic cross-country skiing: the legs walk whilst the upper body is also exercised.

Winter sports professionals swear by Nordic Walking in summer. This is how they keep fit during the snow-free period. The difference between the Nordic Walking Technique and Power Walking: Nordic Walking essentially uses the physiological, diagonal course of movement of walking.

The effectiveness of Nordic Walking is achieved through a longer stride and a corresponding thrusting movement of the arms (long and strong pole placement).

Essential: the right length of pole and correctly adjusted straps.
