Lymphatic drainage

Massage for decongestion

Manual lymphatic drainage is a special type of massage that increases the transport capacity of the lymphatic system

Not only the affected region, but the whole body is always treated.

Massage begins with the part of the neck where the large lymph collecting vessels open into the subclavian vein. This is supposed to stimulate the flow of lymph into the major lymphatic vessels in order to facilitate drainage from the smaller vessels. The trunk and extremities are then treated.
