mediven thrombexin 21

mediven thrombexin 21 has a compression pressure of 21 mmHg in the ankle area, which decreases continuously towards the thigh. It was specially developed for individuals who already have damaged veins.

Whether in the hospital or at home, whether mainly or partially bed-ridden:
mediven thrombexin 21, with its higher compression pressure, takes account of the special requirements of this patient group.
The higher the compression pressure exerted by the stocking, the more the diameter of the veins is reduced and the blood flow rate increased. Since the veins of individuals with varicose veins or chronic venous incompetence are already dilated, a stronger pressure must be built up to prevent thrombosis. In people with healthy veins, a compression pressure of 18 mmHg in the ankle area is sufficient to prevent thrombosis.

Features of mediven thrombexin 21:

mediven thrombexin 21 is manufactured using the principle of two-way stretch technology, which has been proven in phlebology for many decades. The compression pressure decreases continuously from the ankle towards the thigh. The circular compression action is thereby not dependent on the longitudinal stretch.

  • "Intelligent" top band: the specially developed silicone top band ensures a non-slip fit and, with its rectangular colour marking on the outside, provides information on the optimal fit.
  • Colour coded heel: the heel marking makes the selection of the correct size easier and ensures that the stocking sits correctly on the foot.
  • Open toe: the open toe of the stocking allows for simple visual monitoring of the arterial circulatory situation.
