In vein surgery, mediven struva 23 is used as a supplement to mediven struva 35

• During and after the operation, the unoperated leg is fitted with the mediven struva 23 to prevent thrombosis.
• After one to four days, compression treatment of the operated leg with mediven struva 35 is discontinued and this can then also fitted with a mediven struva 23.
